春天來的時候，
淡水小鎮會慢慢變得不一樣。
空氣裡開始有花香，
風從河口吹過來的時候，
街道兩旁的花會一片一片落下。
有一天，我在花園裡撿起一片花瓣，
才發現一件很有趣的事情。
每一片花瓣，
都是 心形的。
像一個一個小小的心，
靜靜落在地上。
很多人經過時不會注意到，
但如果停下來看一看，
會發現整個地面像是下了一場
很輕很輕的花瓣雨。
淡水是一個很特別的小鎮。
海在旁邊，
河在旁邊，
山也在旁邊。
風總是慢慢地吹著。
有時候走在街上，
會覺得時間好像也慢了下來。
在這樣的小鎮裡，
我們做果醬、做料理、釀一些食物。
用花、用水果、用季節。
很多客人來到店裡時，
會先看到一整排果醬。
有時候他們會問：
「為什麼你會在這裡做果醬？」
其實答案很簡單。
因為這個地方有風、
有花、
也有季節。
有些味道，
只有在這樣的小鎮裡才會出現。
而我們只是把它們
慢慢地保存下來。
像一瓶一瓶的記憶。
Petals in the Tamsui Seaside Town
When spring arrives,
the small seaside town of Tamsui begins to change.
The air slowly fills with the scent of flowers.
When the wind blows from the river mouth,
petals fall gently along the streets.
One day I picked up a petal in the garden
and noticed something beautiful.
Every petal
is shaped like a heart.
Small hearts,
resting quietly on the ground.
Many people walk past without noticing,
but if you stop and look carefully,
the ground looks as if a soft rain of petals
has fallen across the town.
Tamsui is a very special place.
The sea is nearby,
the river is nearby,
and the mountains are nearby.
The wind always moves slowly here.
Sometimes when walking through the streets,
it feels as if time itself has slowed down.
In this kind of town,
we make jam, cook food, and ferment ingredients.
Using flowers,
fruits,
and the seasons.
When guests walk into the shop,
they often see shelves filled with jars of jam.
Sometimes they ask:
“Why do you make jam here?”
The answer is simple.
Because this place has wind,
flowers,
and seasons.
Some flavors
can only appear in a town like this.
And we simply preserve them
slowly and carefully,
like jars of memory.
